fiio ps1110 walkbox portable speaker: boom for your buck

anythingbutipod’s Andreas Ødegård recently reviewed FiiO’s PS1110 Walkbox, a portable speaker. The Walkbox turns out to be a good deal, churning out surprisingly loud sounds in such a small package while still being cheap. As in Chinese product cheap. Because FiiO is a Chinese company.
The FiiO can be powered using 2 AAA batteries, via USB, or through an AC adapter (sold separately). Ødegård tested the Walkbox on video to give us an idea just how loud it can play:
