Technabob Welcomes Writer Chris Holzworth

Student. Geek. Aspiring science fiction/fantasy author and Creative Writing teacher. Sometimes essayist. Frequently opens mouth, inserts foot. Welcome to the Chris Holzworth Experience.

Before slinging stories for technabob, Chris cut his teeth writing for a variety of video game websites (including RPGFan, The Wiire, and Geekadelphia). Currently, Chris is pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing so’s he can stand in front of college students and pretend like he knows the first thing about writing fiction and non-fiction (read: make most of it up as he goes along, quote John Truby when in doubt). He recently completed the first part of his novel, No City for Heroes, and has shipped it off to a literary agent to be critiqued and returned like a red-penned murder scene.

Besides writing, Chris adores crime/detective films, robots, regularly injuring himself as a “method writer,” rum and cokes, jogging, and anything set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
