laptop case for macbook pro against crime: weird name for a weird product
Wow. This is mildly mind blowing. When something is called a Laptop Case for Macbook Pro Against Crime, you’d think that you already know what the product is and what it’s for – as opposed to something like Xbox 360. Then you realize – just what the hell is this thing? And how is it going to combat crime theft? Lemme give you a hint: the answer to the second question is the first question. And this is the answer to the first question:

That’s the case right there; it’s a plastic handbag made to look like a newspaper. I would never have guessed that it would look like this even if I had a hundred chances. The case also comes with a removable metal chain handle. There are 5 different newspaper designs to choose from, each mimicking a popular newspaper from different countries (the one in the picture is a spoof of La Vanguardia, one of the most popular Spanish dailies). The case only comes in one size, big enough to fit a 15-in Macbook Pro. It’s available at mitemite for €60 (appx. $86 USD), but you’ll need a PayPal account before you can order one.
