Fans of the just-released Nintendo DS puzzler Scribblenauts, here’s something fun for you. It’s a pixel art tribute to the game’s protagonist, Maxwell.

Created by Faith over at The Girl Gamer, Maxwell is constructed out of fused Perler beads, a popular medium in the geek-pixel-craft world. He sports a spiky red coiffure, and a pair of headphones to tune out the rest of the world while he solves his puzzles.

She created Maxwell for a fan art contest over at SuperPunch, and I think she deserves to win a prize. Want to hang Maxwell on your wall? You’ll have to wait for now, but Faith does plan on listing him up in her Etsy shop, Pixelated Creations. In the mean time, head on over there and check out some of her other cool pixel art creations. The Donkey Kong frame is my personal fave.

And if you’ve never heard of Scribblenauts
