Sounds like you need to install drivers, Abelton Live 8, and then configure the device in Ableton Live for it to start working. Hope that helps. Did you go through the setup instructions here? There is no instruction on how to turn it on. I took it back to Guitar Center and we tried another unit, and it wouldn't light up either? I got a refund.
