I think this is a good product. Only that, it was not promoted correctly. It shouldnt be used to avoid rat piss or whatever chemicals, but, as a device to prevent spilliage or for convenient storage. My workplace requires us to use spill proof mugs. so can drinks at workstations was not allowed. this invention right here, might be the solution that we are looking for. :)
However, my colleague did buy this when she was in the states, but it could not fit our local can drinks. damn! hahaha...

I hated drinking from a can but these make it like drinking from a bottle which I love. They paid for themselves in just a few days. Goodbye Bottles - Hello Bottle Top.

So, are you seriously telling me that you can't take the 5-10 seconds it takes to clean off the top of a can before opening it? That's half of your argument right there. Next time, learn to use common sense in your review. It's obvious you forgotten it @ home the day you wrote this.

Bottle Tops = ingenious and worth it...especially when you're driving long distances and the drink you want @ the convenient store only comes in cans.

If you are worried about rat piss on the top of your can, shouldn't you wash the can whether there is a Bottle Top snapped on it or not. The Bottle Top doesn't claim to wash your can for you. Seems like your blaming this product for something that has nothing to do with it's purpose. Bottle Tops work great for what they are meant to do.

I could use something like this. I don't drink soda much, and when I do buy some, I can't finish an entire can in one sitting. Nor do I want to, that's a lot of sugar in one go. I've been wrapping the top in cling wrap and a rubber band, but you can still taste a vague flatness after a few hours.
