Okay, I’m sure these weren’t actually crafted as a playset, but could you resist posing them in adorable ways? Clearly the artist couldn’t; there’s even a backdrop to simulate a moment from the game! And look at that little goomba, all turned over. Mario’s just schooled him, shoe-style.

Look! They do actually all come apart and everything.

You can put the goomba in the shoe and let Mario beat him down… leave the goomba out of the shoe and let Mario beat him down… really, your options for goomba-beatings are nearly endless.

I’d like to see more little sets like this! You could throw in all sorts of enemies from the Mushroom Kingdom and just let Mario and friends throw down in friendly crocheted cage-match fashion.
