I love apple. I have an iPod and I would get a macbook pro if I needed a laptop and i'm looking at buying an iPad... BUT Mac desktops just don't make sense to me 1. Price to performance they are overpriced 2. iMacs are computers for people who don't need high performance 3. When your iMac breaks you also lose the screen 4. I've never heard of anyone overclocking an iMac 5. iMacs don't allow for watercooling 6. Basically you pay arm and leg more for a point and click system and you lose all choice of customisation and future proofing upgradability. 7. I could rebuild my rig for about $1,200 right now and be pushing 24Ghz+ out of my CPU what would apple charge you for 24Ghz of cpu power?
