I'm not a huge fan of LG as I heard the sound isn't that great. I'd stick with Samsung. I bought the Samsung UE40B7020 and it's a thing of beauty. I'd definitely buy Samsung again. Anyone who comes to my house is more than impressed with this beast!

Its quite a big new range from LG, theres also said to be 47" and 55" top of the range infinia LE9500 models which are 3D ready and LED backlit 2010 LG LED TVs Seems that everyone is pushing the 3D theme, but will it catch on for home users?

Not all of these models will have the Internet features, so the prices will continue to drop on the lower-end sets. I will make a prediction now that you’ll be able to get SOME (bottom of the line) 42 inch LCD sets for as little as $299 by this time next year.

I hope TV manufacturers come up with a cheaper line of HDTVs that has basically the same display quality but stripped of the internet connectivity and the other related features. For now I just want a box with a good display, that’s it. I get the feeling though that companies are tacking on feature after feature to their TVs to justify their prices. Dammit.
