Asus Ecleaner Robot Vacuum Cleaner Kills Germs, Not People
December 27th, 2009
Asus is entering the robot vacuum cleaner market with its ECleaner, which will become a clear competitor to the Roomba and Neato.

On top of vacuum cleaning your home, this little colorful robot comes with a bacteria killing UV light, perfect to disinfect your house. It also has a fragrance sprayer to cover up any strange smells, as well as a remote control. The light lasts about 6,000 hours, which should be plenty for even the dirtiest homes.
Just like the Roomba and the Neato, the ECleaner has got a photo sensor so that it doesn’t fall down stairs. It also will go back to its recharge cradle when the juice runs out, but that’s not really what makes it interesting. What really makes it interesting is that it will cost significantly less than any of its competitors, making robot vacuum cleaners available to a larger customer base. It’s will be available in China and Taiwan for a paltry $150 (USD).

I just wish they’d stop calling these things “vacuums”, they’re “sweepers” dangit
This one actually has a vacuum w/ filter and dustpan. Look at the specs.
Hi. I´d like to buy one.
How can i order this one for buy??
thast amazing id love it but be afraid that i might step on it
This is an interesting idea. Some engineers have put together a small, autonomous, wheeled robot. It’s designed to roll around on a person and give them a massage. The robot has tilt sensors built in so that it knows when its about to roll off your back, and also apparently “grips” while giving the massage. Thanks…………
