Simon, I tried this in a shop that has a demo set. It is not as sharp as HP. The color looked washed out. But it is better than those crap pico types. Yes, I would say, extra 25 lumen is worth it.

Does anyone know how this compares to AAXA's M1 Ultimate-X? It's a lil lower in lumen but $100 cheaper, is that 25 extra lumen worth it? Please take a look and looking forward to the replies http://www.aaxatech.com/products/m1_micro_projector.htm

Be realistic. This device is design for people on the move. If you need a bright and sharp projector, go for the biggies. I owned one of these and love its portability and to my surprise it delivered. I used it for presentations, in medium-size seminar hall, and people were just amazed at its ability to project good image, for its size, and in a well-lit room. Highly recommeded.

I agree that lumens are inportant, but if you use a Pico Projector, that is Laser-based technology, you get an extremely clear picture, and better images, due to the lack of the focus ring.
You have to take into consideration Pico Projectors are small, and will NOT compete with the big boys in home thater design. But these unit will allow you to give a mobile presentation of quick movie to a client on the go.

Our best pick is the ShowWX from CommXPERTS.com
Here is the direct link: http://www.commxperts.com/khxc/ecom-prodshow/ShowWX.html

Good luck and great presentations!

Casio just announced a super bright 3000 lumen slim projector this morning that uses LED, laser and fluorescent technology, and it looks really cool.

just another projector, which does not really work (100 lumen is only good in a completely dark room and when the projection is not bigger than 1 m). I tried some of these small projectors and they are all crap.
