Reminisce the Minimalist Way With Brandon Schaefer’S Movie Posters

I”m sure that some of you would rather look at the actual posters of these geeky movies, but for me 25-year old Brandon Schaefer’s style actually calls out to geeks in that the things his art withholds are known only to those who have actually watched the movies they represent. Here are some of his posters:

I never saw The Wizard, so I obviously I don’t get the exact reference, but I like it nonetheless. The one for The Rocketeer is awesome, but actually when I’m reminded of that movie the first that comes to my mind is brown leather .

The Rocketeer and Dark Knight posters are available as prints at inPRNT along with more posters for other classics like Back to the Future, Planet of the Apes, etc. Prices vary depending on the size of the print.

Unfortunately the Fright Night and Wizard posters don’t have print versions as of now; but you can look at bigger versions of those and more posters at Brandon’s website and on his Flickr page.
