imaxi: the apple ipad maxipad case!
After the whole iPad naming fiasco, we all knew that it wouldn’t take long for some more maxi-pad humor to come our way. Here it is: the iMaxi, the apple iPad case with maxi wings!
A lot of women, including my wife, were thinking that there couldn’t have been single woman on the iPad naming-team. What were they thinking?
Since Apple won’t change the iPad’s name at this point, this case should work well with it. It is handmade and it will keep your iPad clean with its protective wings! The outer layer is vinyl and a plush, quilted-cotton sleeve, which should help keep your precious iPad nice and tidy. Etsy crafter Hiphandmaids‘ product description says it best:
“Plus, the iMaxi’s Velcro-latched, advanced wing design wraps snugly around your device, so your iPad always stays where it should. Best of all, it shields it from all those unsightly and embarrassing data leaks that would make any motherboard worry.”
Hiphandmaids says they will sell for $40 (USD), but if you pre-order before March 30, 2010, you can get one for $30.
I especially like the one with the red inside. That’s just plain wrong.

This is iPad case for idiots. It’s not even a case, it’s a big Always. After so many jokes related to “pad” term, I guess no one would ever love to buy or own something like that. Go here for real iPad cases!
Wow I just can’t imagine anybody using that. Unless you gave me a free iPad to keep and I had to use that for a year, then I would use it.
