Mac Pro With Core I7 Processor Due on March 16? [Rumor]
March 11th, 2010
ZD Net‘s Adrian Kingsley-Hughes not only has a fancy upper-crusty name, he has some sweet sources as well, sources who have whispered in his ear that next week, March 16th, Apple is going to unveil a Mac Pro configuration that carries Intel’s six core, 3.33 GHz Core i7-980x. Sadly, these sources of possible nonexistent goodness didn’t say anything about a similar and long overdue update to the MacBook Pro line.

My sources sent me that picture, and they swore to me that that the Core i7 processor literally looks like its logo and is really that big. Something tells me I shouldn’t trust my sources anymore.

Placement = wrong. Would have been more funny to have the logo over where the processors really are…
