Google Adds Stop Download Feature to Youtube, Helps Us Waste Time More Efficiently
March 22nd, 2010
Last week, Google added a “Stop download” option to YouTube’s video player, giving us a more convenient way of choosing which videos waste our time and bandwidth. If you want your browser to stop buffering a YouTube vid, just right-click on the video and choose “Stop download”. Why don’t you go try it out?

Yo Ush! People are hatin’ on me Ush. Ush Ush Ush. But seriously it would be nice if there was an option to do the opposite and resume downloading the video. As it’s really not too different from closing the window or tab where the video is loading.

This would have come in handy the other day. I’ve been working out of a hotel with crappy Wi-Fi this weekend, and was looking at another tab in my browser while I had a page with a YouTube clip on it in another tab. Had I realized this, I could have stopped the download while I continued to look at my other pages.
its not a youtube feature, its a Adobe Flash Player 10 feature.!!!!
