8-Bit Dr. Horrible

by Paul Strauss

If you’ve never seen Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog, you’ve probably been sleeping under a rock (or maybe you just have a real life). The humorous short film was created by Joss Whedon and his brothers, and starred Neil Patrick Harris in some ridiculous sci-fi musical theater. Now you can watch Dr. Horrible, Captain Hammer and Penny in glorious 8-bit color.

Dr. Horrible fan Doctor Octroroc put together this great tribute animation, in which he envisions NPH in Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Game, a theoretical NES adventure. So sit back, get out the popcorn, crank up the volume, and enjoy the show…

That’s only Act One, of course. Doc Oct expects to crank out the other acts in the not-too-distant future, so be sure to bookmark his site for updates.
