Apple just refreshed its MacBook Pro lineup with some new features, which wasn’t surprising, but is still a good thing. A lot of people have been waiting for these, so hopefully, you didn’t just buy one yesterday.

The 15 and 17-inch models are available with Intel’s speedy and power-efficient Core i5 and i7 chips. The graphics chip has also been upgraded to the GeForce GT 330M. You can now switch graphics card acceleration on the fly, no longer needing to reboot.

A higher resolution screen is available for the 15-inch MacBook, which is 1680 × 1050 pixels. With the new graphics chip, you now get full HD resolution on the go. The other big change is the battery life. This is one of the most important factors of a new laptop – to me at least. All models get a few extra hours over their predecessors. The 13-inch model should get 10 hours while the 15 and 17-inch models get 8-9 hours runtime on a single charge.
