Don’T Text Me App: Aka I Will Mass Text You

Want to keep people off your back? Then don’t get a phone! There’s an app for that. Renegade Apps’ Don’t Text Me automatically sends a message to a group of contacts with a single tap. It’s meant to be used when you’re busy and can’t or shouldn’t be using your Apple device, like when you’re driving or in a meeting. The nice thing about it is that it only needs Wi-Fi to work, so the app is also compatible with the iPad and iPod Touch. Unfortunately it can only send messages to US numbers.
It’s a nice app created with a noble purpose, and correct me if I’m wrong but can’t one also use this app for the exact opposite reason, i.e. to mass text your contacts? I think you can customize the notifications that the app sends, so instead of saying “Please don’t text me I’m busy,” it can say “Party at my house tonight!” or “I’m driving wooooo!”

Boy, that’s like saying that speed-dialers are designed to call telemarketing firms and tell them you don’t want their calls.
