The 1-Minute LEGO Bridge Maker

This amazing LEGO vehicle by Peer Kreuger, called the Stilzkin EXT3 Bridge Launcher, is able to deploy its own bridges to cross small chasms.

The bridge itself has no servos and takes about a minute to be deployed. Once it’s in place, the vehicle can step aside to let other vehicles cross, cross the bridge itself and then retract the bridge. You have to check it out in action in the following video:

Needless to say that LEGO Technic parts were needed to build this little marvel. No word on when they’ll start building real bridges this way.
