Disco Chair Shows Off Its Electroluminescent Powers

Despite the fact that there’s probably no way you can actually sit in this chair, I want one for my living room.
Created by Kiwi&Pom for Wallpaper Magazine, the Disco Chair is a conceptual piece of furniture, made from about 600 feet of colorful electroluminescent wire.
The chair can also be set to a “pulse” mode, hence the “Disco” moniker. In all likelihood, you’ll never be able to buy this chair, but I’m secretly hoping Disney will come up with an all blue edition and market it along with all of their other TRON: Legacy merch.
In the mean time, you could always build your own. Here’s a place you can get plenty of electroluminescent wire for your projects.
