Mosaic Tile Video Game Controllers: No Grout About It
August 21st, 2010
I’m pretty sure that these mosaic tile video game controllers don’t work, but if they did, it sure would be cool.

But even if they don’t play, they sure would look cool hung on the wall of your game room. They’re made by Breakin’ & Makin’ Mosaics, and currently come in NES, Wii-Mote and PS 3 versions.

Each one is handmade from numerous individual tiles, carefully arranged to look like your favorite controllers. The PS3 controller measures 12″ x 4″, the Wii-mote 13″ x 3″, and the NES controller 13″ x 5″.

They sell for $45(USD) each, and can be found over at Breakin’ & Makin’ Mosaic’s Etsy shop. Maybe if enough of you guys ask nicely, she’ll make an Xbox 360 version – or at least an Atari 2600 one.

Nice work on those mosaics. You can also make the grout any color by using GDC grout stain colorant. To learn more visit http://www.groutdye.com or http://www.tile-grout.net
