Bear Robot Designed to Save Lives, Looks Like It Will Kill Us All

Vecna Robotics BEAR (Battlefield Extraction-Assist Robot) was created to help with everything from search and rescue missions to hazmat handling. But despite it’s good intentions and unassuming looks in the photo below, this robot scares the crap out of me.

In the clip, we get to see BEAR pumping iron, breaking down doors, smashing things, and carrying humans around like they were ragdolls. Lifesaving, my ass. This little guy could really be trouble if it fell into the hands of the wrong evil genius.
All we need now is for Cyberdyne Systems to merge with Vecna, and we’ll all be robot food.
