It took a while, but finally we’ve got Hot Wheels with tiny POV video cams built-in. You can even watch the footage from your Hot Wheels directly on a small screen underneath the toy car.

These new Hot Wheels from Mattel will come with a playback option and you can just download them onto a computer. They come with easy-to-use software, which allows you to edit these short clips. That’s kind of cool, in my book.

These Video Racer cars will be available next fall for $60 (USD), so they don’t come cheap, but they are quite unique. I’m sure that little boys (and girls who like cars) everywhere will find plenty of uses for these little cars.
