Change It! Pixel Wall Concept: Change Your Walls to Suit Your Many Pixelated Moods
February 10th, 2011
While you could make a customizable pixel wall out of a bunch of iPhones, I kind of like the simplicity of this analog pixel wall.

Designer Amirkhan Abdurakhmanov (aka “Amirko“) created the concept for Change It!, an simple, ingenious way to create any design you want on your wall. You can arrange the pixel blocks to form fields of color, rainbows, patterns, and even your favorite video game characters if you want.

The Change It! wall system would be created from a series of prisms attached through rods, which could then be adjusted to a variety of angles to produce unique colors. Now I’m not sure exactly how the angled prisms could produce the sort of pure colors shown in thes conceptual designs, but it sure looks cool.

There’s no word on if or when the Change It! wall will ever be produced, so for now you’ll just have to build yourself that iPhone wall afterall.
