Angry Birds iPad 2 Cases Protect the Back-aaaaaaaw! of Your iPad

The iPad 2 was just released on Friday and a lot of people have already been getting rid of their old iPads so that they can get the new ones. Thanks to (paltry) new cameras, and slimmer body on the iPad 2, you’ll also need a new case. This Angry Birds case is definitely unique and will set your iPad 2 apart from all of the rest.

These cases are made by Gear4 and will include covers and protective shields allowing you to safeguard your new toy. There will be three Angry Birds cases in total: Red Bird, Family Shot, and Pig King vs Red Bird (I think we all know who wins that battle – those stupid red birds suck.)

These cases make the iPad 2 look a lot more fun (and protect the backside that Apple chose not to with their Smart Covers). But in my opinion but they are a bit pricey – they’re expected to sell for about $65 (USD) each. They have just been announced, but I expect them to be ready for purchase pretty soon.

  1. Very fun cases but price is the negative side.

  2. Mi says:

Is there a back cover out there which has cutouts to allow using the Apple Smart Cover on the front??

Not sure – I would think that the whole reason that Apple went with a front-only cover design was to still allow their partners to sell back covers, but you never know.
