Pac-Man Pasties Gobble Power Pills (and 8008135)
March 22nd, 2011
Ok, this is my totally juvenile post for the day. Someone has taken it upon themselves to create a line of pasties that look like the characters from Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man.
For those of you who don’t know what pasties are for, let me Google that for you. Now that your virgin eyes have been ruined, let’s get back to Pac-Man and his pals. Etsy artist PrettyinPasties doesn’t actually come out and say these are Pac-Man pasties. Instead, she calls them “Ghost Hunter Pasties”, featuring Mr. Smiley, Mrs. Smiley (with bow) and their nemeses Turquoise Ghost, Orange Ghost, Red Ghost, Purple Ghost, Cobalt Blue Ghost, Green Ghost, Pink Ghost, Yellow Ghost, and Silver Ghost. I don’t remember that many ghosts in Pac-Man either, so maybe they are really from a game called Ghost Hunter.
So assuming your naughty bits are 2.25-inches in diameter or smaller, the Ghost Hunters and Ghosts will do a fine job covering up your business. Each pixel sequin is hand-attached with industrial strength advesive, so you don’t have to worry about them falling off. On the other hand, I’m not quite sure about these instructions for keeping the pasties themselves secured: “Complimentary Double sided-adhesive tape is attached to the back. This may be removed after a one-time use. To re-use, we recommend double sided tape for the bedroom. For prolonged or stage use, you may adhere the pasties with eyelash glue, carpet tape, toupee tape or spirit gum.” Now I’m not a girl, but that all sounds rather painful to me.
I suppose if you are an rabid Pac-Man (or Ghost Hunter) fan, and simply must have these, you can grab a pair for your pair over at Etsy for $22 (USD). And if you’re more of a Mario fan, you could always go with these:
