DTV Shredder ATV: Jet-Ski for Land

by Range

This off-road vehicle looks kind of like a jet ski for land. It has two independently-powered caterpillar tracks, that make it look like a personal battle tank. The DTV Shredder can fly over almost any kind of terrain. Plus, you’ll probably scare the crap out of anyone seeing you coming.

The DTV Shredder has got a 18hp/200cc engine that provides good traction and helps it go up slopes as steep as 40 degrees. It can hit speeds up to 30mph. The top handlebars can be folded down so that the rig can be remote controlled or it can be hooked onto a trailer to haul up to 1,200 lbs of cargo (!). It comes as no surprise that the U.S. military is even looking at this ATV for their soldiers.

The treads will chew on anything, including snow, ice, sand, marsh, and mud. Here’s a video the guys at Engadget shot showing off the DTV Shredder in action:

You can pre-order the DTV Shredder from BPG Werks for $2,500 with a $250 deposit.
