Tron Lightcycle PC is DIY Casemod Perfection

I have seen plenty of casemods over the years and some of them are cooler than others. Generally, we see a case that started life as a normal computer chassis that the modder added things to turn it into something else entirely. Rarely do we see a mod where the builder actually designed the entire case.

Check out this Tron Lightcycle PC case by Boddaker. I think this is more a correctly called a case design not a casemod because the builder made this thing from 3D specifications and hard work. There is nothing store-bought about this case other than the construction materials. The designer says that it started as a bunch of specifications in a 3D application on his computer.

The body panels were made from acrylic and the PC components are from EVGA and Coolermaster, with brains by Intel. It has a custom liquid cooling system and a curved radiator in the back wheel that has handmade. The look is rounded out with some Razr Tron peripherals. More specs for the rig inside the case can be found over on Boddaker’s build log.
