Star Wars Cubism: Obi-Wan Picasso

by Range

Star Wars art is pretty hot right now (when has it not been?) and artist Tommervik has created some awesome Star Wars-inspired paintings, done in the Cubist style brought to the forefront by Pablo Picasso.

I like how the images make you try and figure out what exactly you’re looking at for a fraction of a second before you get it. You’ll find Cubist scout troopers, droids, and Princess Leia and Darth Vader getting their dance on in in Tommervik’s Star Wars series.

I haven’t been able to find out much about about this American painter, but you can check out his latest work through his site.
