Diablo III Details Disappoint Gamers
August 1st, 2011
If you are a fan of the Diablo franchise from Blizzard, you have probably been waiting for the new game in the franchise to land called Diablo III. Some details on the game surfaced today and hardcore gamers can trust me when I say you won’t be happy.

The game will require a constant internet connection and there is no offline mode. You can only play online as you can in World of Warcraft. There will be no single player missions to learn on as there were in the past Diablo titles. The bigger bad news is that Blizzard has specifically disallowed game mods and bots. That means no hacks for new game play sadly.
The final bit of bad news is that all of the items in the online auction houses will be sold for real world money. That means rather than farming for gold and making loot killing things, you will have to get out your wallet. There are locks in place though that prevents low-level characters from just buying the best weapons. Some items are locked to specific level characters.

Despite all that, the gameplay still looks pretty cool:

There will be two auction houses, one real money, the other in-game currency.
..The auction house will be split in two, one for real money and one for in game currency.
and the entire campaign is able to be played single player You can play with friends at any time and there is a pvp mode in addition to campaign.
Diablo3 S U C S!!!
And it looks like sh*t…as I say on gamespot, read all comments, I don’t think that pepole like new Diablo…sorry …blizzard sh*t. My old comment:
Check this Baldur’s Gate Dark Alliance for ps2 and xbox, release date: dec 02, 2001!!!

Ten years old graphic and it looks similar like today’s diablo 3. Maybe Blizzard don’t really care for their customers, they just want to make Wow-diablo online money machine, or maybe their developers make them fools with 3 years long game development like there is a technical or budget limit. Now they showed us some cartoon-shaded super mario galaxy mixed with stup..d fable design…I think that they forgot that they built their empire thanks to Diablo and Starcraft.
I want that diablo 3 take me to all the darkest places that I can imagine, I want to go in hell to fight demons, I want to fight with my scariest nightmare, a want to see dark dungeons with blood and tortured people…
With unlimited budget and best designers and developers in the world and 3 years of work THIS IS THE BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT IN GAME INDUSTRY!!!

Man, this guy is REALLY upset:

Why does it matter if there is no singleplayer mode? If you want a singleplayer game, do the exact same thing as in a D2 solo run through: create a game and put password protection on it. Voila! Instant single player game.
If there is one thing to be mad about, it’s the apparent lack of a “pause” feature. Though, in D3, you’ll “pause” by killing everything in a room and idling or returning to town.
The release has been pushed back as well.

This article is obviously just trying to stir up drama.
-No offline mode? QQ – You’ll be fine, broadband speed in America has been expanding rapidly and rates have leveled.
-disallowed bots and hacks? Oh wow, if you knew anything about Diablo 1 or 2 you’d see bots joining games and spamming ads. They aren’t welcome. Also, hacks were only used officially on “Open Battle.net”, which only kept a certain style of persons anyways…
-Auction house: The author either didn’t do his homework or left out the hardcore mode in-game AH only, or the dual AH system in normal gameplay on purpose to stir up the bullcrap.
either way- poor writing, research, and all around journalism.
Screw Acti-Blizzards fascist copyright protection. Are they too stupid, lazy or greedy (probably all three) to develop an alternative copyright protection? I don’t want to deal with lag, server manipulation and other bullcrap. I’m sick of games getting disconnected and getting screwed for not pausing. I don’t find Online multiplayer enjoyable at all because of all the trolling and ultra competitiveness for stats and lame awards. The game also looks alooot like WoW.
This game disappoints me more each day, I will not buy it until the price is 5 $ on Steam. I prefer a thousand times to buy the Torchlight 2 before this game.
TORCHLIGHT 2 RULEZ!!! :D
hacks are lame any ways if ur crying abouth acks u dont deserve to play the game.
Those, who are as much disappointing at Diablo 3 as me are welcome to check out Path of Exile, which is resembling a lot more to Diablo 2 than Diablo3, link: http://www.pathofexile.com/
The fact, that they made Diablo 3 very similar to WoW is sad and only shows the “good” quality values from their point of view. The influence of WoW can’t be ignored, it’s too obvious. And yes, the such graphics were around for quite a while (Baldur’s Gate Dark Alliance)
