Death Star Cake Destroyed the Alderaan Cake

This Star Wars-themed cake sets itself apart from all of the others that I’ve seen thanks to a blinking LED that takes the place of the planet-destroying laser. The rest of it is edible, from the base to the to TIE Fighters.
It took Rachel Linhart several days to put together this cool cake. All in all, she clocked in about 24 hours of build time. Sadly though, this cake was demolished en route to the birthday party it was meant for, courtesy of New York’s finest cab drivers.
It’s sad that it was destroyed before it could be eaten, but the kids happily imagined that Luke destroyed the cake with his precise, Force-controlled shot on the way, and not potholes and bad driving.
