Dexim AppSpeed Monster Truck Controlled by iPhone App

This monster truck by Dexim isn’t the first remote controlled toy that we have seen that uses the iPhone for the controller. We have seen several helicopters for instance like the Griffin HELO TC that use the iPhone for a controller. The new AppSpeed Monster Truck is a ground-pounding version of those remote-controlled vehicles.

AppSpeed Monster Truck

The truck comes in black or red colors and looks like a mini big rig. It uses a free app and a RF transmitter that connects to the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch charge and sync port. That RF transmitter turns the angle that you hold the iOS device into signals to control direction of the truck.

The app also offers a touch control mode as well. The truck has some preset things you can make it do from the app like zigzag, spin, or dance. Dexim says you can play with the truck indoors or out. You can order one up now for $69.90 (USD) over at Dexim’s website.
