i camera iPhone 4 Case Takes Things a Little too Far

by Paul Strauss

I’ve seen some cases and vinyl skins for the iPhone that attempt to make it look a little like a camera, and even ones that have some practical value, but I think this new case is just a little too over the top.

The i camera Case from Chinese accessory maker Hashy not only makes your iPhone look like a point-and-shoot digital camera, it craps it up by making it just as bulky and ugly. And no, that lens sticking out of the back serves absolutely no purpose. Apparently, part of the heft of this case is so you can use it as a stand for your iPhone, but I just think it makes it look cheap.

I suppose if you really want to disguise your iPhone, you could buy one of these, but I think I’m going to stick with the original design as Apple intended it.

If you absolutely must crap up your iPhone with one of these, you can grab one over at Strapya for ¥1344 (~$18 USD).
