Elecom Battery Charger: 4 AA = 1 iPhone Battery

Elecom gives us another reason to keep our AA batteries around with this portable charger. It’s similar to the Sanyo Eneloop Mobile USB Booster, but while that one only takes two AA batteries to provide up to 90 minutes of additional power, the Elecom DE-A01D-1908 combos with four AA batteries to fully recharge an iPhone. Kinda makes the letters in its typically inventory-friendly name quite ironic.

Audio Cubes calls it an “iPhone battery charger” even though it only actually has a USB A Female connector. I see no reason why it shouldn’t work with other cables and devices just like its Eneloop counterpart.
