Vintage Superhero Posters: Paper Fights Back

by Range

French illustrator Grégoire Guillemin created these retro posters as part of his series Exercises in Style, which remind me of the golden age of superheroes. Each poster is unique and the typography matches the overall tone of the art.

Grégoire must really like superheroes. He’s got other stuff available at his online Society 6 store, including great papercraft designs which he appropriately calls Paper Heroes. Those papercraft superheroes are pretty awesome, Hellboy especially.

Even though they are vintage-looking, they have a modern edge to them, and they’ll look good hanging on your walls. Guys, I’m not sure how your significant other will react to these, but you can always hang them up in your man cave/secret lair.

Hey! I found a nifty optical illusion here: LOOK AT THE “IRON MAN” TEXT WHILE SCROLLNG UP/DOWN.
The letters will change their width/shape. Pretty cool, heh?
