7 Foot Papercraft Gundam FTW!
November 8th, 2011
The title pretty much says it all. This incredible 7 foot-tall papercraft Gundam is about the greatest thing I’ve seen all day week month year.

It was made by graphic designer/creative director/visual spice master Taras Lesko, and it is truly an epic feast for the eyes.

Taras put together this time-lapse video of the build showing how it was assembled from 750 sheets of paper, and weighs in at about 10 pounds total. Not bad for a 7 foot-tall robot with a jet pack, eh?
You can find many more pics and behind-the-scenes footage of the 7 foot papercraft Gundam over at VisualSpicer. Incredible work there, Taras.

It’s a shame he had to ruin it with the crosses.
It’s still pretty awesome, but mixing religion and Gundam is a little weird.
Perhaps he should have made God Gundam. Wakka wakka!
(But seriously, the Mk. 2 is my favorite, ever… so this is still pretty awesome.)
The crosses are stylized swords and have nothing to do with religion..are you serious?
Actually the guy who made this is a devoted Christian, and he decided to show it by adding a cross in the front. If you ever see a close up on its right shoulder there are bible verses printed on it as well.
That little girl is adorable!
Awesome!!!
