BHR-3 Humanoid Robot Does Tai chi While Awaiting Skynet’s Signal
December 20th, 2011
Here is the latest human-built robot, which like those before it, will await its chance to join Skynet and enslave us all. This particular ‘bot is called BHR-3, a humanoid robot from the Beijing Institute of Technology’s Institute of Intelligent Robotics.

There isn’t much to set this version apart from its predecessors, but he stands about 170cm tall and weighs less than 60kg. This bulky looking bot can also be cable-free. The best thing about him is that he can perform Tai chi exercises. If you are looking for a partner, BHR-3 will share your workout.
Of course it can also walk forward, backward, and side to side. BHR-3 was built as a kind of high-tech promotional model for museums, tech shows, and other places where you would want to show off a Tai chi robot.
