The Metroid series doesn’t get as much love as Mario or Legend of Zelda in terms of fan made arts and crafts. Honestly, I’m not very familiar with the series, but if I had to guess it’s probably because it lacks adorable objects and characters. Look at this Metroid ring for instance. It features a transparent space vampire jellyfish. King Koopa’s way more lovable than that.
