If Cars Were Biodegradable, They’d Look Like This in A Couple of Years

When a car goes out of commission, it’s usually sent over to a junkyard. That’s a huge chunk of solid waste that requires a lot of energy before it can be recycled. A possible solution? Biodegradable cars. That kind of technology is probably still a few centuries away, but these images from at CMP Block in Taiwan give us all a preview of what to expect if and when that does eventually happen.

What you’re looking at is actually an art installation that attempts to merge “art, aesthetics, and nature.” I think it does manage to do all that and more.
