Audio Pro LV1 Wireless Speakers: Leather-Clad Audio Goodness

by Range

There are plenty of portable Bluetooth speakers out there, but there are a lot fewer wireless speakers for your home. While most audiophiles quickly dismiss wireless technology, these kinds of speakers are useful since they allow you to play and control your music from your computer or mobile devices.

The Swedish-made Audio Pro LV1 is an elegant wireless speaker, with a cabinet wrapped in rich leather. It has a 4×35W Class-D amplifier, 2×1″ tweeters, 2×3.5″ woofers and feature a frequency range of 50 to 22,000 Hz. In addition to ordinary compressed audio formats, the LV1 is able to handle uncompressed FLAC files and Apple’s lossless file format without significant degradation of quality.

In this particular case, the speaker works over an RF network, instead of Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, requiring the included USB transmitter to be connected to your audio source. It’s too bad that it doesn’t support Wi-Fi so you could use it with your wireless devices without connecting them to their RF transmitter.

You can get the LV1 from Audio Pro for £350 (~$565 USD) in red, white or black leather.
