This 150 pound R2-D2 is an amazing confectionery creation. This droid is life-sized and resides in the lobby of The Fairmont San Jose hotel, where they encourage visitors to come into the lobby and take a selfie with it.

This R2-D2 replica was created by their Pastry Chef Fernando Arreola and was inspired by the Star Wars Exposition at the Tech Museum across the Street. The Chef used 150lbs. of White Chocolate Fondant to create this tasty gastro-mech delight.

The scarf is a nice touch and I love all of the details. I would just need a restraining bolt to keep me from eating it all up. They did a fantastic job on this one.
