Theater Plays the Wrong Guardians Flick Three Times in a Row

by Shane McGlaun

A number of films have the word “Guardian” in their titles, I can see how someone might get confused. At the same time, Rise of the Guardians really looks and sounds very little like Guardians of the Galaxy.

While Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy film is blowing up the box office right now, the animated Rise of the Guardians movie didn’t do all that great and is a kids cartoon. Plus, it came out nearly two years ago. Those facts haven’t stopped at least one theater from accidentally playing Rise of the Guardians instead of Guardians of the Galaxy.

And if doing it once wasn’t enough, one Regal Cinemas theater in Virginia reportedly played the wrong movie three times in a row. This is the perfect opportunity for a theater to Rickroll some people.
