Back in July, I talked about an awesome film-scale Serenity model that was on display from QMx. A lot of people got all hot and bothered at the thought of owning that model. If you were one of those who got excited, you can own your own now.

QMx is taking pre-orders on the giant Serenity replica complete with cool paint, LED lights, and more. In all, there are over 250 parts to the replica. The model is built using a steel skeletal structure and internal brass for main engine rotation. There are over 100 LED lights controlled by a 12v system.

On the bridge, the tiny crew can be seen and manually operating cargo bay doors and a hinged reactor vent covers are included. A remote control is included for operating the lights on the bridge, galley, cargo bay, and docked shuttle lights. The company will make 500 of the models and as awesome as it is, you need some serious money to own one. A single replica will set you back $7495(USD).
