This pocket-sized add-on includes two high-quality, adjustable condenser microphones, an internal mic pre-amp and an analog to digital converter. There’s even a stereo limiter to deaden loud sounds and a USB port to charge it up. And since it can record at volume levels up to 125 dB, it can also be used to record concerts and music without a problem.

The iM2 stereo microphone sells for $80 (USD). It’s definitely worth checking out if you like to record sounds with your iPhone.

One major advantage to such devices is that they’re often more handy and way more convenient to install and use rather than the conventional item that already has it built in instead.

However, that’s one advantage that the n•a•p Massaging Bed Rest doesn’t really have. It’s sort of a contraption that’s meant to be placed on top of your bed so you can recline and do whatever it is that you do normally on a couch or La-Z Boy there instead. Aside from a built-in massager, the n•a•p Massaging Bed Rest comes equipped with an LED light for easy reading, huge side pockets to fit random stuff, and a cup holder.

Dot is made by the New York-based company Kogeto and the device attaches itself to the iPhone. Users can then navigate 360-degrees through the video on their iPhone, and share them on Facebook or Twitter. The add-on weighs about half an ounce and doesn’t require additional battery, beyond what it will get directly from the iPhone.

Kogeto will offer a free iPhone app named Looker to help shoot, view, and share the videos. Looker can also link different videos from different iPhones together, allowing people to jump from one perspective to another. The device will be launched in June and full production is expected sometime in August.

You can pre-order it through Kogeto’s Kickstarter page. To get the add-on, you’ll have to pledge at least $98 (USD). The initial $20,000 goal has already been surpassed by about $4,000.

Users can add their own people to block on the list, but there is a default one included which has most of the big ones, including the recently added Charlie Sheen. Gesture Theory is behind this add-on and they plan on improving it so that it can block the headlines from any website. The first image shows how sites look without the blocker on. The second image below shows what happens when Lindsay Lohan is on the ‘gag’ list. Poof! She’s gone.

If you are a fan of the NFS Hot Pursuit game on the PS3, EA has announced a content pack that you will want to buy. The pack is called the Super Sports Pack. It adds in 13 new race and pursuit events and three new supercars that will make you wet your pants. The new cars include the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, GUMPERT Apollo S and Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport.

Those cars are available in race and pursuit modes. Veyron police car FTW! The pack will hit the Xbox on December 21 for 560 Microsoft points and will land on the PS3 on December 22 for $6.99 (USD). I would assume Wii and PC players of the game will get the pack too, though EA doesn’t mention it.

Before I go any further, I have to admit that I have not played a single second of StarCraft II so I’m not really sure if Diamond Gamer’s add-on is worth it. That being said, not having to switch between the game and your browser, text or pdf guide is a pretty neat idea and should make it easier to practice. You can even watch embedded videos while playing.

The price isn’t so bad, it’s still within the range of video game guides, plus the software will be updated to keep up with latest developments in StarCraft II. What do you guys think? Of course, most of you will probably dress up as Jack Sparrow and wander around with a drunken swagger.

A representative of Logitech’s UK office told CVG that they’re not aware of any such product, so “… it may be something the US office is working on.” If this UMD drive does come out, let’s hope that Logitech (or Sony) includes software that can rip UMDs so that people can transfer their UMD-based games to the PSP Go’s memory. Either that or sell it dirt cheap. Otherwise this is a slap in the face of everyone who bought a PSP Go.

If and when this device is released and all it does it play UMDs, it will be an implicit admission that the PSP Go is a crippled and expensive joke of a device.  You know Sony, if you really want to go backasswards, you’d be better off bringing back PS2 software emulation on the PS3.

Baby and Me comes with a doll, but not just any doll. This doll features a slot for the Wii remote so that the game can track feeding, playing, and excessive shaking motions. Watch for the sequel: Chiild Protective Services and Me. The game also features Balance Board support so that you can rock baby to sleep.

Just remember to remove the baby before you take on something else, like Wii Sports boxing.

At $49.99, the add-on may seem a little expensive, particularly when most gamers gravitate toward voice-communication in online gaming, but sometimes a little typing is necessary. The keypad can also be used with the PS3′s web browser, which is where it’s likely to be most helpful. Unlike the Xbox 360′s Chatpad, which fits into the bottom of the controller, Sony’s keypad nestles into the top.

Sony’s wireless keypad is set for release December 15 and can be pre-ordered at Amazon. If you simply can’t wait, you can get one at Play-Asia right now for $49.90. If you could afford a PS3, you might just have the cash to burn.

The player includes CyberLink’s PowerDVD BD Edition, providing playback of Blu-ray discs on your computer screen. In addition to store-bought Blu-ray movies, the player supports discs burned in MPEG-2 or H.264 format, and standard DVD discs or recorded DVDs encoded with MPEG-2 or AVCHD formats.
