Rabbit Wants Cake is all about a remote-controlled rabbit who’s after a bit of cake. Players record moves and Rabbit executes them, but it isn’t as simple as it sounds. Rabbit Wants Cake has two modes, Normal and Expert. In Normal, you can record your moves, test them out, and then even change the duration of jobs with the bar at the top.

In Expert, well… get used to some trial and error, because you can’t do any of that fancy business.

Rabbit Wants Cake is deceptively difficult in places, but if you’re a meticulous planner, this is the game that will waste your time today. If you make it through all 25 levels, you deserve cake, but remember: the cake is for the rabbit.

Fragger: a Game About Blowing Dudes Up

Listen, you can talk about the story in the Halo series and the graphics in Gears of War, but it really all comes down to getting down and tearing stuff up. Fragger strips away all the details and gets things down to basics: blowing dudes up.

In the browser game Fragger, you aim grenades in order to solve problems. Er, puzzles. Puzzles. Though, in a pinch, I’d bet a grenade could solve an awful lot of problems.

Underneath, this simple game is about strategy (and blowing dudes up), and it’s important to consider each move carefully, because until you can prove yourself, you’ve got a limited amount of grenades.

How to Raise a Dragon is a charming little pixelated browser game all about–as you may have guessed–the care and feeding of dragons. Feed a hatchling, guide an adolescent beast, and see where the story takes you.

Gregory Weir’s How to Raise a Dragon offers very simple choices, but every one seems to have an effect, and there’s a lot you can do with your dragon in such a barebones game. Color and abilities are set early on, and after that… well, I don’t want to spoil things for you.

How to Raise a Dragon is an excellent browser-based diversion with a lot of replay value, and that alone would be enough to set it apart from many similar games. And it’s about dragons. Really, what more do you need?
