Autumnwave’s OnAir GT features tuners for both high-definition over-the-air and digital cable (QAM) broadcasts as well as for analog over-the-aid and cable signals. The OnAir GT plugs into your laptop’s USB port and has a built-in antenna port for receiving signals. Because the receiver does all of the decoding and video signal processing, the requirements for the PC aren’t bad at all. You should be able to use it on all but the most anemic laptops made in the last few years. The receiver also features Dolby Digital 5.1 support.

As a bonus, HD DVR software is included and can record programs to your laptop’s hard drive for later viewing. The software also includes TiVo-esque time-shifting capabilities. The OnAir GT is priced at $179 USD is available now.
