That works on so many levels that maker rockabillyjon, who posted the homemade dock to Flickr, should market the thing. Who doesn’t love a good brachiosaur?

The Flickr set includes some in-process shots and the whole project looks pretty simple. Cut an iPhone-shaped slot in your favorite object and make a hole for cabling. Voila! Now your favorite random object can be used to charge one of your favorite useful objects. It’s a win all around.
