This cube has one regular thickness layer, but then all the other faces are super skinny, creating many more permutations as you rotate each layer, never mind the off-kilter handling that you’re bound to encounter with a puzzle shaped like this. You can choose from a 3x3x9 variant, or the slightly simpler 3x3x7 version, if you’re intimidated by the more complex cube. Despite their looks, there’s apparently a “New Playing Method” which can be used to quickly solve these too.

This oversize USB mouse is so big, that it requires the entire expanse of your grip to move it around. I’m not sure where I’d find the room on my desktop to cram this thing in.

If you have any doubt about just how large this thing is, just think about the specs. At 175mm long (~6.88″), 105mm (~4.13″) wide and 55mm (~2.16″) tall, this thing could eat your current mouse for breakfast, then swallow 3 or 4 more mice for dessert.

Yep. That’s a 1.5″ LCD screen. It displays images stored in the mouse’s built-in 8MB memory. It supports bmp and jpg files, and I think the mouse also comes with a cropping and managing tool for the pictures, although no mention is made of such a program in the product page.

You can trigger the display and browse the files manually, but you can also set the mouse to automatically play a slideshow, I guess so that your palm won’t be bored while you’re too busy looking at, I don’t know, normal sized pictures on your computer.

The device looks like a mobile phone form the 1980′s. The color isn’t retro me, all the old phones I ever saw were in ugly beige cases not black like this thing. If you like the retro style of the thing you can order one up for $23 (USD), but don’t be surprised if we all laugh and point at you.

Basically, what it attempts to do is cut out the step of having to transfer files to a USB flash drive if you don’t want to bother with that. From what I understand the cable only provides a way for your appliance to access files. It has no media player software so even if you see the files, there’s no guarantee that your appliance can open it; that will depend on the appliance itself.  You can order the USB to 1080P HDTV Share Cable from Brando for only $24 (USD).
