Get a set of Photoshop CS4 Magnets at Meninos for only $25 (USD). And just like Adobe, you’ll probably have to pay a pretty penny to upgrade when the CS5 version comes out.

The designers over at Brazil’s Meninos (the same guys who gave us some oh-so-awesome iPhone coasters and pop art hard drives) created these wall-mountable magnetic photo boards that let you hold your pictures in place using those familiar palettes from Photoshop or Illustrator.

Each set comes with a bunch of magnetic palettes, menu bar and a contextual pop-up that you can stick on top of your photos. I always wondered why you couldn’t put your palettes at an angle on your computer. Seems like you should be able to do whatever you want with them – after all it is your computer, right?

Unfortunately, it looks like these are all based on the CS3 Mac versions, and not CS4, so the palettes don’t dock neatly on the side of the monitor. I really hope they include a tiny little spinning beachball magnet as shown in the photo below.

The PS and AI magnetic photo boards are available for pre-order over at the Meninos Shop in 30″ and 20″ widescreen versions, with prices ranging from $65 to $95 USD depending on size and whether you get magnets for one or both programs.

At least Meninos won’t want hundreds of dollars for an upgrade if and when they eventually make a CS4 version.

Created by the guys over at Brazil’s Meninos design (the same guys who make these awesome hard drives), these icon coasters are a great gift for any iPhone addict. All your favorite applications are there, from Maps to Calculator, from iPod to Settings. Ah, Settings.

Each coaster measures 85mm square (about 3.34″) and is made from sturdy MDF plywood, then wrapped with a premium vinyl decal and durable varnish to protect the design. A thin rubber layer on the bottom keeps the coasters from slipping around.

Sets of 16 coasters retail for $60 USD over at the Meninos online shop. Personally, I’m looking forward to when they open up the Coaster App Store.

The artists of Brazil’s Meninos design studio first started out making these custom pop art hard drive cases for their friends. Now they’ve had the brilliant idea to release their wares to the rest of the world for us to enjoy.

Each one of their external USB hard drive cases is hand-assembled at their studio, using a custom acrylic case (complete with dual cooling fans) covered with a precisely applied vinyl wrapper of one of their designs. They’ll also make custom designs if you upload Adobe Illustrator art using their custom template.

While I love all of their designs, the Samuel L. Jackson Pulp Fiction model has to be my favorite (vinyl blood splatter not included).

While the cases aren’t cheap ($250 US without a drive, $400 to $620 US with one), I’ll forgive these guys since the designs are just so cool. Head on over to the Meninos Shop to see the complete collection.
