Light bulbs are made out of glass, so they shouldn’t melt unless you heat them to a couple of thousand degrees Farenheit. That is, unless you get one of these kooky lighting fixtures from Propaganda.
The lamp lets you fool people around you into thinking that your bulb is actually melting like a Good Humor bar on a hot Summer day…

While I question the utility of this flashlight, the idea of carrying around what looks like a traditional incandescent light bulb on your keychain is just wacky enough that I thought I’d give it a mention.
While this little light bulb doppelganger might look like a real bulb, you won’t be mistaking it once it’s lit…

These unique lighting fixtures from LEXON feature a soft silicon rubber exterior that conceals a cool fluorescent tube light source.
The Tykho Bulb lamp can run on either battery power (4 x AA) or an AC adapter, and come in several bright colors. The lamps cost about $60 USD each.
